The maximum daily driving time is 9 hours per day, but this can be extended to 10 hours twice in any one fixed week. If 9 hours is exceeded within a day then a blue circle will be crossed out.
A regular daily rest is 11 hours. Any rest between 9 and 11 hours is a reduced daily rest. You are allowed no more than three reduced daily rests between any two weekly rest periods. If a reduced daily rest is taken a green circle will be crossed out.
The Break Overview indicates when the next break, daily rest and weekly rest needs to be taken as well as indicating the duration of the break or rest period.
Depending on the activity performed this screen will vary between Drive and Rest countdowns. When in Rest mode it is possible to view the time left until your rest is fulfilled. When in Drive mode it is possible to view the available driving time left before a rest or break needs to be taken.
When in Rest mode on the tachograph it is possible to perform a long press on the outlined Daily Rest countdown in the Break Overview screen. You will then be prompted with an option to select a 9 or 11 hour display in relation to the length of the daily rest period.
When in Rest mode on the tachograph it is possible to perform a long press on the outlined Weekly Rest countdown in the Break Overview screen. You will then be prompted with an option to select a 24 or 45 hour display in relation to the length of the weekly rest period.
To change the Duo Mobile app from live mode (where it’s connected to the tachograph via a Bluetooth dongle) to the demo mode, press the menu button, choose Preferences and change the “Data source” option from Bluetooth dongle to Local (demo mode).
Yes. Firstly ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone. A pin code then needs to be entered when you are prompted to pair the smartphone with the dongle. The pin code is printed on the dongle label.
If connection to the Tacho Link Bluetooth dongle is lost the Duo Mobile app will continue to perform calculations with the assumption that the current activity has not changed on the tachograph.
